Louie attended Melbourne University and graduated with a Batchelor of Science in 1992. He taught 'science' for several years at various schools including St. Bernard's College and Preston Girls Secondary school.
He then worked as a Sales Manager in various scientific equipment companies, the latest being 'Biocorp'.
He joined the NRL in April 2001 taking on the role of Office Manager.

He enjoys the challenges of everday family life and finds his work at the NRL very stimulating and rewarding.
His interests include golf and tennis and he is a qualified Alpine Skiing instructor.
